Koby ( He / They / El ) is the Founder and Executive Director of the organization. In this position he makes major national decisions , acts as the main point of communication between the Board Of Directors and national operations and serves as the public face of the organization. Koby grew up in the Colorado fostercare system for 15 years from the age of 2 years old until the age of 17 years old when he was Adopted. While in fostercare he lived in about 45 different placements , experienced every form of abuse imaginable and lost countless foster siblings to aging out. Koby is young in age but he is far beyond his years in experience and maturity and we are proud to have a young leader with diverse experience as our Executive Director. Koby has 15 years of lived experience , 8 years of work experience in the nonprofit sector and he was even the first early graduate of his high school , graduating 6 months early back in December of 2017. Koby is currently studying for his Bachelor Of Science In Human Resource Management from Southern New Hampshire University online but he is planning on studying all the way up to his Doctorate. When asked why he chose Human Resources as his major , he had this to say. “ I know that Human Resources is poorly represented , HR Professional’s today have forgotten the HUMAN part of Human Resources and I want to change that. I believe that an organization is only as good as its Staff and how well they are treated and I will always treat my Staff well because without them the work that we do would not be possible “. Koby always encourages his Staff to relentlessly pursue a work life balance. In his free time Koby enjoys hanging out with Friend’s and Family , singing Karaoke and watching horror movies.
